Exhibition Structures: Exhibition Stand

The Ford Motor Company's largest-ever exhibition stand at the 2004 Motor Show was a 7,400 sq m reconstruction of "Tracy Island". This was to highlight Ford's involvement with the Universal Pictures version of Gerry Anderson's classic "Thunderbirds" series.

The stand featured a 1200 sq m "lake" created on the exhibition floor. Intension was asked to manufacture and install the liner within a very demanding timetable.

The pool liner remained leak-free for the entire period of the show due to extensive trials of various materials and installation techniques carried out in the factory.
