Exhibition Structures: Promotional Staging

An example of a standard 12m Serious Stages Orbit structure being used as part of the promotional staging for the successful 2012 London Olympic Games bid.

Intension was also commissioned to design, manufacture and install a pre-launch veiling feature for the athlete statue. The veil was manufactured from a highly reflective silver cloth normally used in light fittings. In addition the veiling was required to fall away at the press and media launch. To facilitate this Intension designed an ingenious electro-magnetic release system.
