Outdoor Shelters: Laurens Patisserie

The clients' brief was for a high-profile smoking shelter structure in their car park which complimented their new factory buildings rather than the traditional approach to smoking shelter areas.

Although this was a small structure approximately 10m x 5m being used here primarily as a smoking shelter, it is a version of the classic twin-cone shape which can be enlarged to suit many applications. A permanent type of structure, it can also be adapted to have full or partial height walls as required.

This type of structure meets all requirements of current smoking shelter legislation whilst at the same time making a pleasing design statement.
